Head Underwater
This year at the Cowichan Exhibition I entered my watercolor titled "Head Underwater." It's inspired by my two Betta fish that I had raised. I love making my watercolors vibrant. There are a lot of brilliant shades you can find in a subject that seems to be composed mainly of very light washes. I look forward to continue to explore new techniques in my future watercolors.

Cowichan Exhibition Banners
The 2016 Cowichan Exhibition was very colourful with the addition of new banners hanging in Mellor Hall. Each banner represents the different divisions found in the catalogue which includes fine arts, hobbies & crafts, baking, needlework, honey, fruit & vegetables and more. It was very rewarding experience to design the banners which makes the hall bright and cheerful.

Deck The Hall Christmas Market 2014
The Deck the Hall Christmas Market was held this year at the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds. There were 70+ vendors, live craft demonstrations, christmas music, & a cafeteria. It was a pleasure helping host the event and also help out in the children's craft section.
I also displayed my artwork and had button crafting demonstrations throughout the two day event.
In the children's craft section I had brought fuse beads to let the children create there own crafts to take home for free. They were very creative!
Crafts Fair Patrons were welcome to choose a button design and I would make it on the spot for them! This was a great way to have some seasonal fun and interact with art!
This year I also had the opportunity to paint the windows! I choose to represent a winter wonderland.

November 16 Craft Fair Recap
This year I featured my artwork at the annual Duncan Volunteer Firefighter Department's Craft Fair. All proceeds from the table fee, Santa photos, and food sales benefited the Muscular Dystrophy Canada. There were over sixty vendors featuring the most beautiful handmade items I've ever seen! Thank you to all the volunteers and firefighter department! It was a lovely event!
